Ranco invites SLC Members to Lean Event

Why be a part of a lean consortium? For many reasons, one of which is getting outside feedback for your business. That is exactly what Knut Brown from Ranco organized.

On March 31, he invited SLC members and vendors to the facility to gather feedback on 4 different problem areas at Ranco. The teams first got a brief history of Ranco, then split into 4 different process teams, then spent several hours observing, brainstorming, and problem solving those areas.

Knut reports that after the event the best part has been the different conversations and brainstorming that is happening on the shopfloor. These new conversations are increasing through-put and lowering cost in their production areas.
