Keynote Speaker
Hi, I’m Brian Meyers. I’m passionate about Lean and leadership development because I’ve lived the transformation firsthand. I turned my company, Fat American Mfg, from a high-waste, batch-and-queue operation into a growing beacon of Lean excellence. Today, we average two Lean tours a week as leaders and teams come to see what is possible when Lean is applied with intention, authenticity, and heart.
My goal is to lead by example and show the real power of authenticity and transparency. Say what needs to be said. Show what needs to be shown. That is where real improvement and real leadership begin.

Keynote Speaker
Edwin Proper

I’m Edwin Proper, a Lean Culture Coach dedicated to helping small teams:
• Improve morning meetings and daily improvement time
• Build engagement
• Grow people
With over 15 years of leadership experience in the agricultural sector, I understand firsthand how culture, people, and processes drive business success. My background includes roles as General Manager at Choice Seedlings, where I implemented companywide inventory controls and improved culture, and earlier management positions at Windy Hills Farm and Alpine Nurseries, where I led programs for continuous improvement, staff upskilling, and operational efficiency.
My qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics, Robotics & Automation) from Stellenbosch University and a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management from Leadership Management Australia. A blend of technical expertise and people leadership that allows me to thrive in complex environments.
My purpose and passion: developing culture, people, and processes so they are a little better than yesterday.
